Botox injections are used for pain control in patients with chronic afflictions such as back pain, facial nerve pains, neck pains and in some cases migraines in , Mansfield TX, and Ft Worth . Botox has been used to treat upper limb spasticity at The Paragon Med Spa by Dr Mark Bishara. It was evaluated in three randomized, multi-center, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies involving people who had upper-limb spasticity after stroke. In each of the three studies, Botox showed benefit over placebo in the treatment. The dosage of Botox when treating upper limb spasticity varies patient to patient. Some of the factors are severity, reaction to previous treatments and adverse events. Treatments may be repeated after 12 weeks of the previous injection.
