Lets talk a little bit about Radiesse, Radiesse is a wrinkle filler used to plump the skin. Radiesse filler is injected under the skin adding volume immediately. One great benefit of Radiesse is that it continues to stimulate your body’s own natural collagen over time. Results when using Radiesse have shown to last a year or more in many patients.  As with any injection while doing a Radiesse treatment, the injections can be a bit uncomfortable. Luckily, Radiesse is FDA approved to be mixed lidocaine to help reduce any discomfort. Radiesse also provides results with high patient satisfaction. When opting to use Radiesse the patient should inform Dr. Bishara about all medications they are taking. Blood thinners such as aspirin or any other medication that can interfere with the clotting of the blood can make it more likely to bruise or have more bleeding at the injection site. Radiesse is a viable option to help provide a long lasting natural look while smoothing wrinkles immediately.

What is laser 360?


Laser 360 is a skin laser used to help rejuvenate your skin. It is a treatment that has three combined revolutionary technologies to help give you softer and younger looking skin all in a matter of 60 days! Laser 360 is also used to treat fine lines, wrinkles and discolorations. Laser 360 is perfect for people who are not quite ready for a facelift. The aestheticians at the Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa are the best in town to perform Laser 360.

 

What areas does it treat?


The Laser 360 is designed to treat the forehead, under eye, cheeks, neck, chest and around the mouth. It is non-invasive and a comfortable procedure and can be used on all skin types.
 

How does it work?


The laser 360 uses three different technologies that will all benefit you.

  • AFT intense pulsed light for color: This is used to even out your skin color and minimize any broken blood vessels.
  • Near-Infrared for tightness: The deep heat in this step helps by leaving your skin firmer to give a younger and contoured appearance.
  • Pixel for texture and tone: The purpose of this laser is to create many microscopic perforations to help stimulate new collagen. New collagen will improve the texture of your skin and smooth fine lines and wrinkles.


 

How long does the treatment take?


Laser 360 usually take up to 2 1/2 to 3 hours. There can be a 3 to 5 day social down time as the skin will be red, as days go by the redness will subside.
 

How long do results last?

Is it painful?


The Pixel step can be uncomfortable but it all depends on the energy and the patients tolerance. Patients can take Valium for relaxation and the prescription can be called in prior to the appointment.

Hydra Facial MD

 

A Hydrafacial is a non-invasive skin resurfacing and hydrating procedure that an aesthetician performs at the Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa. It has vortex suction tool that works like microdermabrasion to exfoliate the skin and remove impurities without using crystals or abrasive chemicals. It uses vacuum like suction to get rid of dead skin, clogged pores, and reveal more radiant new skin. A Hydrafacial can treat a number of skin concerns, like fine lines, acne, hyperpigmentation and sun damage.
 
 

How it works!

 
Hydra facial MD is for all skin types. It helps with hyper pigmentation, congested pores and fine lines and wrinkles. It usually takes about 30 minutes. The way it is done is as follows.
 

  1. Cleaning and exfoliating, the aesthetician uses a deplaning tool that opens up the the pores and lifts the uppermost layer of make up and dead skin cells.
  2. Acid Peel, Glycolic  peels tend to leave your skin stinging for a minutes until washed off, but not with the acid peel. the Acid peal is as gentle it only gives you the faintest tingle.
  3. Extractions, this is where the the vortex extraction nozzle comes in to play. The vortex extraction acts as a vacuum and begins the suctions of all impurities on the skin. A cup at the base of the machine shows exactly what was extracted.
  4. Serums! This final step uses the vortex-fusion tool to infuse an antioxidant and collagen rich serum into the skin to promote elasticity and hydration.

What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is a synthetic gel wrinkle filler used to plump up your skin. Using a small insulin size needle Radiesse is injected under the skin.
Should I use Radiesse?
Radiesse is not intended if for you if you are allergic to any ingredient of Radiesse. Radiesse is not for you, if you desire only a short term augmentation.

How does Radiesse work?
Once injected under the skin, the works by adding volume under the skin. With time Radiesse has the benefit of continuing to stimulate your own body’s collagen.
Do Radiesse injections hurt?
As with any injection, Radiesse injections may hurt. Radiesse is injected with a very small fine needle and the doctor uses topical or local anesthetic to ease any discomfort.
How long does Radiesse last?
Radiesse effect differs in every person, but results have shown to last up to one year or more in each patient.
How many treatments are required?
During consultation your doctor will decide the number of treatment sessions and the amount of Radiesse you will need each session. Although significant augmentation may be achieved in the first treatment, a touch up may be required to get optimal results. Periodic future touch up treatment may be needed as well.

How often are Radiesse treatments given?
Depending on the desires and volume of treatment required the doctor will decide how often the Radiesse treatments will be needed.
What are possible side effect with Radiesse?
The most common side effect after treatment are redness, bruising, and occasionally some swelling. The effects are mild and tend to last for a short time. An ice pack may be used to help reduce any bruising or swelling.
Can i go back to work after a Radiesse injections?
Yes, in fact most patients feel comfortable to return to normal activities right after Radiesse treatment.
Could my current medication interfere Radiesse injections?
You should definitely inform your doctor about any prescription or over the counter medications you are taking. If you are taking any blood thinners such as aspirin or any medications that interfere with blood clotting, you are more likely to have bruising or bleeding at the injection site.

RADIESSE® filler reduces moderate to severe wrinkles, folds and creases around the nose and mouth by stimulating the natural production of collagen in the skin.
JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus is used to treat deep and more severe wrinkles and folds. Provide results that last up to one year.
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC filler instantly adds volume to the cheek area. It gives you a subtle lift, helping to restore and contour a more youthful profile for up to 2 years.
