Laser Skin Tightening- Current special is Buy 3 sessions, get 3 FREE
Laser skin tightening is fast becoming a very popular treatment. This treatment has no downtime and is ideal for targeting the signs of aging. It will help to improve jowl and neck laxity, undereye sagging, nasolabial folds, and drooping brows. A series of 6 treatments (each spaced 2 weeks apart) produces a fresher tighter, more youthful appearance without pain, invasive procedures or downtime.
How It Works
The Skin Tightening handpiece uses near infrared technology. Deep dermal heating induces the production of collagen. The delivery of energy is uniform and effectively targets lipids and connective tissue. This causes two major mechanisms, heat induced collagen shrinkage and micro thermal injury as well as dermal regeneration, repair and remodeling. The results are dramatic, while being comfortable and without causing damage to the epidermis.
Advantages

  • Quick and easy treatment
  • No damage to the epidermis
  • Activates dermal regeneration, repair and remodeling
  • No downtime and can be done over lunch hour
  • Very good for lax skin around eyes and brows
  • Can be used on the body as well

Using 3 cutting-edge technologies, Laser360 is a non-invasive, comfortable procedure that provides lasting results in just 60 days through a series of office visits. These skin tightening treatments are safe, comfortable and effective without surgery or down time.
It can be used on any skin type, and you are free to return to normal activities immediately after each session.

How Does Laser 360 Skin Care Therapy Work?

Laser360 uses three technologies to provide complete skin rejuvenation:

  1. AFT intense pulsed light for color
Pulses of light even out your skin color and reduce tiny broken blood vessels and other color irregularities.
  2. Near-infrared for tightness
Deep heating helps firms up any loose skin so you regain a more youthful, contoured appearance.
  3. Pixel® for texture and tone
This precision laser creates thousands of microscopic perforations, which stimulate new collagen to grow. The new collagen improves your skin’s texture and tone to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. The skin around each of these perforations remains intact, which allows the skin’s top layer to heal from the edge of these tiny holes very rapidly.

Each technology is delivered through a simple handpiece that is placed against your skin. The treated area will gradually rejuvenate over the course of your customized treatment plan.

Your skin goes through a lot during the day. We unknowingly touch it with our fingers constantly and leave behind dirt, oil and bacteria. On top of that, it’s exposed to the sun, pollution and other factors that can cause damage. All of these combined are a perfect recipe for breakouts and signs of aging like wrinkles. That’s why the break your skin gets while you sleep is so important.
Follow these tips to make sure you wake up with gorgeous skin every day.
1. Get enough sleep
This one seems like a no-brainer, but there are still so many that don’t get enough shut-eye. Sleep is especially important because it gives your skin time to recharge. If you don’t get enough sleep, there are both short and long-term consequences. Short term effects are seen immediately [with] under eye bags, dark circles and sensitive skin. These usually go away when the appropriate number of hours of sleep hass been met. If someone is constantly not getting enough sleep, it can lead to inflammation and acceleration in aging, resulting in the appearance of wrinkles and even acne.
2. Avoid salty food three to four hours before bedtime
Foods that have high sodium content lead to dehydration, which is what you want to avoid for your skin while asleep. Salty foods can cause puffy eyes because of the extra fluid retained.
3. Sleep on your back
Sleeping with your face directly touching your pillow often leads to lines and creases in the skin, which can become permanent.  Sleeping on your back is best because it prevents neck and back pain, reduces acid reflux, minimizes wrinkles, and maintains perky breasts.
4. Give your skin a final wipe after you cleanse
Cleansing is an absolute must, but to avoid having a little bit of makeup left over, do the following: After you rinse off your cleanser, do a final swipe over the skin with a wipe or soft, damp washcloth. “The physical sweep over the skin makes sure that makeup is off. This will give your skin a clean slate to absorb the reparative ingredients that you’re going to use.
5. Use a good moisturizer for your skin type
Many forgo moisturizer at night because they want to let their skin “breathe,” but that’s actually a misconception. The concept of your skin breathing is actually incorrect, there are no respiratory systems in your skin. Your skin is like a fish and needs water to live. Without enough moisture, the skin cells dehydrate and skin produces extra oil to compensate causing wrinkles and acne.
When looking for a moisturizer, choose one that doesn’t contain sunscreen. The main goal of sunscreen is to protect skin from UV light, but non-sunscreen moisturizers will typically have a higher concentration of skin-benefitting ingredients, which is best for nighttime.
6. Use an eye cream
If there’s any time of day when you absolutely should wear an eye cream, it’s at night. They work better at night because you’re not wearing makeup. That said, be careful not to put them too close to your lash line because your lashes can pick it up and deposit it into the eye, which causes puffiness.

Noninvasive and doctor-administered, skin tighteners are machines that employ one of two types of energy, radiofrequency or infrared light, to tighten the skin by heating the dermis. This causes inflammation and a small injury, which makes existing collagen contract and new collagen to be produced.
Historically, plastic surgeons and dermatologists observed that ablative lasers tightened the skin. From there, a whole crop of nonablative skin-tightening machines hit the market. CO2 lasers were found to tighten the skin to some degree, but potential scarring, increased thermal damage and a prolonged healing period made them an undesirable option for the body.
Most modern-day devices are targeted strictly at tightening without damage to the outer layer of skin, with no downtime. Other current devices make small wounds in the skin, leaving the surrounding skin intact, with longer healing.
Keep in mind, not all lasers are tightening lasers. Some address acne, hair removal or hyperpigmentation; so if you’re undergoing one of these treatments, you shouldn’t expect tighter skin as an extra benefit.

In the fight against aging, most of us need all the help we can get. The following are the five theories anti-aging experts attribute to its causes, amplification and prevention.
Inflammation
The activation of the immune system-due to an infection, allergen or toxin-leads to internal inflammation at the cellular level. Poor nutrition, too little sleep, and radiation are common culprits of low-grade inflammation, which has been linked to arthritis, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and heart disease.
Lifestyle
What we eat (too much sugar, fat and sodium), drink (too much soda, juice, etc.), do (get overstressed, work too much), don’t do (exercise or sleep enough), and what we expose ourselves to can speed up the aging process and the development of chronic diseases.
Hormones
Levels of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, thyroid and/or human growth hormone drop as we age. But by increasing these all-important biochemicals, it may be possible to improve health and forestall the aging process. A controversial approach, hormone therapy requires oversight by an experienced physician.
Antioxidants
Call it the “rusting” theory. As we get older, we’re subject to oxidative stress, the byproduct of free-radical damage, a natural process in which unstable molecules disrupt cell and tissue functioning. Antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, and E, glutathione and alpha lipoic acid can help protect cells.
Detoxification
When the body can’t rid itself of toxins, including high amounts of sugar, trans fat, mercury and chemicals we ingest from our food, its equilibrium is impaired, leading to fatigue, poor skin, heart disease, cancer and more. Detoxification and inflammation are closely linked.
