Volbella & Volift

the new face of fillers

Over time skin becomes thin and slackens as facial volume and elasticity are gradually lost. Blame it on a combination of sun exposure, genetics, and lifestyle choices but the aging process is inevitable. Those deep, stubborn lines that seem to be a constant annoyance staring you in the mirror morning and night, are the reason Juvederm strives to continually enhance the arena of dermal fillers.

Everyone knows about Voluma the widely acclaimed, top of the line, does not get any better then this product from Juvederm. Well there are sister products as well! Voluma is known for enhancing and contouring the cheek area on the face, but now there is Volbella with the lowest concentration of HA so it can be used best in the lips and thin skin areas around the face, and then the newest addition to the Juvederm HA based fillers is Volift, not quite as concentrated as Voluma, so it is best used for static wrinkles including nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

VOLBELLA

Volbella is the newest facial filler specifically designed to reconstitute lip volume and define the natural contoured lip shape.  The new formulation results in less swelling and delivers a more natural look and feel. The effect is immediate and the results from one syringe are clinically proven to last up to a year.

Volbella is made from a natural occurring sugar found in our body called Hyaluronic Acid or HA. Hyaluronic Acid helps maintain volume and elasticity in the skin. Naturally we have a hydrating mechanism that produces HA, but as we age specifically around the age of 30, the natural process of plumping tends to diminish. For this reason, HA is used in dermal fillers to help restore hydration and improve the skin’s texture and volume.

What makes Volbella unique?

The patented VyCross technology which, through more efficient cross linking, produces a greater lift capacity and longer lasting results.

What is VyCross Technology?

It is the innovative combination of low and high molecular weight HA to improve cross-linking efficiency of HA chains. VyCross produces a ultra-smooth gel, for minimal swelling and bruising, as well as improved product duration.

VOLIFT

Volift with lidocaine, on the other hand, is the latest addition to the Juvederm domain in HA fillers. This filler provides a versatile treatment option for patients who are looking for a discreet, natural, more youthful appearance. Volift is designed to smooth deep wrinkles, as well as gently restore the natural contours of the lower face. Treatments have clinically been proven to last up to 18 months.

Why Volift?

Again, it all comes backs to the VyCross technology. A more effective cross-linking allows for a lower concentration of HA to be distributed, which results in less swelling and a smoother, more defined appearance.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Dr. Bishara will have a in depth consultation in regards to any injections, including a 3D Vectra scan of your face, so he can better understand your concerns. He will explain the options and make sure the personal treatment plan satisfies your expectations. The actual injection process takes about 10-15 minutes, but the whole appointment takes approximately 30 minutes.

After the Treatment:

Anticipate minimal swelling and bruising at injection sites, and you can expect to see full results in as early as two weeks. We recommend you take time for yourself immediately following your treatment, in other words, a little “social downtime” for the remainder of the day.
