The ARTAS system is a computer assisted system that utilizes image guidance to improve the quality of harvesting the hair follicles.
This machine is capable of solving many of the technical problems that come with the manual FUE technique. Guided by a physician, the robot is able to identify and harvest follicular units and then store them until they are implanted into the patients recipient area using the manual technique.
