Geneveve by Viveve – Feel Sensational!

A Simple Treatment for Vaginal Laxity that Can Impact Overall Well-being is here. Geneveve  is a new way to rejuvenate your vaginal tissue and reawaken sexual sensation without surgery. Just like skin, vaginal tissue relies on collagen for support. With the normal aging or childbearing, the tissue can become stretched and weakened. It causes vaginal looseness, which can lead to loss physical sensation during intercourse and also urinary incontinence.

What Is Vaginal Laxity?

Vaginal tissue is made up of collagen fibers. Over time or with trauma the collagen can lose its strength and shape, creating a feeling of looseness, especially around the vaginal opening. Common causes of vaginal laxity include childbirth, other physical stress on the tissue and aging. If you experience vaginal laxity, you may also notice a difference in sensation and satisfaction during intercourse.

WHAT IS URINARY INCONTINENCE?

Urinary incontinence, or loss of bladder control, is a frustrating problem for millions. Never knowing when and where you might have an accident can affect everything from work to exercise to your social life. It happens to both men and women, but it’s more common in women. Studies show that at least half of older women may have some form of incontinence. The main symptom is peeing unexpectedly. If you leak a bit when you laugh, cough, sneeze, jog, or lift something heavy, you may have stress incontinence. This is the most common bladder control problem in younger women. Stress incontinence happens when the muscles and tissues around the opening of the bladder are weak. When there’s more pressure against the bladder and this opening doesn’t stay closed, leakage happens. Pressure from coughing or laughing may be all it takes for you to leak. There are a few reasons why these muscles can lose strength: They may be stretched by weight gain, a sports injury, or pregnancies and vaginal childbirths.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE GENEVEVE TREATMENT?

Clinical studies have shown statistically improvement in vaginal tightening, to pre-childbirth levels, at 1 to 12 months following a single, treatment. At 12 months, improved and sustained tightening was shown in 90% of the women as well as improvement in sexual satisfaction. A third clinical study showed that women who received the Geneveve treatment showed more vaginal tightening at 6 months than women who did not receive the treatment.

IS THE GENEVEVE TREATMENT SAFE?

What is Geneveve?

Geneveve is a clinically-proven, single-session treatment for women that can safely and comfortably rejuvenate vaginal tissue and improve its responsiveness. Just like the skin on the rest of our bodies, vaginal tissue changes over time. When collagen support fibres lose their youthful strength and vitality, a feeling of looseness, especially around the vaginal opening, occurs.
Vaginal laxity is extremely common and can be caused by ageing, childbirth, genetics, and lifestyle. As a result of vaginal laxity, many women experience a loss of sexual sensation and satisfaction. The Geneveve treatment is a painless, non-surgical, single-session procedure performed by a cosmetic physician and is designed to treat vaginal laxity. This results in an increase in physical sensation during intercourse. It works at a cellular level to tighten the vaginal tissue gently and gradually.

How does Geneveve work?

Geneveve is a treatment that uses patented deep tissue heating and surface cooling to stimulate your body’s natural collagen formation process to generate healthy new collagen. This dual heating and cooling capability trigger the body’s own natural regenerative process that leads to new and stronger collagen while maintaining the patient’s safety and comfort.

Does it hurt?

The Geneveve treatment is not painful. Some patients report a cooling sensation, while others notice a warmth, but virtually all agree that is both painless and comfortable.

What results can I expect?

It is important to note that every patient is different. Some patients report feeling an immediate difference, but new collagen takes about three months to develop and may continue to improve after that time. Results will vary from patient to patient based on their individual needs and their body’s unique ability to produce collagen, but on average patients are still feeling their results at 12 months. With the doctor’s help, you can decide at this point whether or not you are ready for a maintenance treatment or if you’re still experiencing great results and can wait.

Science behind Geneveve

While using cryogen-cooled monopoly radiofrequency the Geneveve treatment begins to deliver gentle volumetric heating while cooling the surface tissue. This unique technology is the only treatment with algorithmically-controlled cooling. Substantial heating at depth is required to both tighten and strengthen the tissue and Geneveve’s cryogen-cooled monopoly radiofrequency (CMRF) technology delivers volumetric heating at precise temperatures to stimulate robust neocollagenesis.
Geneveve uses advanced technologies to ensure a comfortable and successful treatment experience. Its reverse thermal gradient cools and protects the surface mucosa while enabling significant heating of deep tissue, while it’s capacitive coupling distributes energy evenly across the treatment tip for uniform heating. Geneveve has a reproducible delivery with parameters and algorithms that are preset for controlled heating and cooling and its monopoly energy penetrates 3-5 mm deep into connective tissue.

Viveve undertook and successfully completed a multicenter, blinded, randomized, sham controlled study of an elective vaginal procedure to assess the effect the treatment had on women suffering from the changes their bodies undergo after vaginal childbirth. This study demonstrated that there were NO serious adverse events in patients treated with the active treatment. The study also showed that improvement of arousal and/or orgasm was statistically significant as self-reported by 9 out of 10 patients. Further, two previous pilot clinical trials conducted by Viveve in the U.S. and Japan, showed sustained tightening at 12 months.
This unique treatment is a comfortable, discreet, and single-session experience that is painless and can be done in approximately 30 minutes. Designed for improving women’s health and overall quality of life, Geneveve is a difference women can FEEL.

Introducing Geneveve

What is Geneveve?

Geneveve is a new treatment specialized to help with vaginal laxity. Not only does it help with laxity but it also helps with urinary incontinence, loss of arousal, vaginal dryness and not being able to orgasm.

How does Geneveve work?

The Geneveve treatment consist of using a wand that conduces cooled tiny pulses through radio frequency while it produces the right amount of heat into the vaginal tissue. As the heat is conducted the tissue begins to tighten and the skin begins to stimulate new collagen.

Is there downtime?

There is no downtime after the Genevieve treatment. The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes. The treatment is painless, no anesthetic is involved at all. Women may resume normal activities same day and that includes sexual activity.

Who is a candidate for Geneveve?

Women that have had children or are experiencing vaginal looseness are great candidates for the treatment. Women who are expecting or are currently menstruating should wait before they do the treatment. Patients with pacemakers or automatic implantable cardiovascular defibrillator are not candidates for  Geneveve.
