Making the right decision

Botox, xeomin, dysport


Decisions, decisions! As if deciding whether to get help with fine lines and wrinkles wasn’t bad enough. You also have to make a decision on which product to go with. Botox, Xeomin, Dysport which one is best? Is there a difference?
Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport are all used to temporarily treat the frown lines between the eyebrows. So is there really something that makes them any different?
Botox is used to paralyze the muscles under the skin that cause those fine lines and wrinkles. Once injected botox prevents the muscles from releasing acetylcholine which is what causes the muscles to contract then causing those wrinkles. Botox lasts anywhere from three to six months.
Xeomin as botox and dysport is used to help smooth out those frown lines that tend to appear between the brows. It is used to block the nerve activity making a temporary minimization in muscle activity. Xeomin has no additives and the effect after being injected appear after a week. It is similar to botox  dysport when it comes to duration on results. It can last from 3 to 6 months.
If you are looking for more of a natural look Dysport would be a great option as mentioned on  dysportusa.com Dysport is to give you more of a smooth natural look rather than a frozen look. There are five different points to where one injection of Dysport is used. Once injected the injection will temporarily stop the muscles between the brows to contract.

Laser 360 treatments are done on a daily basis here at the Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa. The Laser 360 procedure is a combination of three technologies all under one treatment.
 

How Does Laser 360 work?

 
The Laser 360 consist of 3 different technologies which include:
–IPL (Intense Pulsed light) which consist of pulses of light to help even out skin tone and reduce broken capillaries and other pigment irregularities.
–Near Infrared Skin Tightening is used to firm and contour the appearance of your skin.
–Pixel Resurfacing is a laser used to make tiny perforations on the skin to stimulate the bodies own collagen. The new grown collagen helps the skin texture and helps smooth out those fine lines and wrinkles!
The time frame for the laser 360 procedure is 60 days. At the Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa the treatments are done as followed:

  1. 1st Laser 360 done on day 1
  2. 2nd Laser 360 done on day 30
  3. 3rd Laser 360 done on day 60

There is minimal social down time after your Laser 360.  After your treatment you want to make sure and avoid sun exposure and intense activities.

Dear Friends,
As we age our skin tends to lose natural support structures that keep our skin supple and youthful. Collagen and elastin deplete within the skin, which causes unwanted wrinkles and creases. Lets talk a little bit about Radiesse, Radiesse is a wrinkle filler used to plump the skin. Radiesse filler is injected under the skin adding volume immediately. One great benefit of Radiesse is that it continues to stimulate your body’s own natural collagen over time. Results when using Radiesse have shown to last a year or more in many patients.  As with any injection while doing a Radiesse treatment, the injections can be a bit uncomfortable. Luckily, Radiesse is FDA approved to be mixed lidocaine to help reduce any discomfort. Radiesse also provides results with high patient satisfaction. When opting to use Radiesse the patient should inform Dr. Bishara about all medications they are taking. Blood thinners such as aspirin or any other medication that can interfere with the clotting of the blood can make it more likely to bruise or have more bleeding at the injection site. Radiesse is a viable option to help provide a long lasting natural look while smoothing wrinkles immediately.
