What is HydraFacial MD?

The HydraFacial MD is a treatment that helps improve your skin’s health. There are many benefits to receiving this type of facial. The HydraFacial helps with fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture, enlarged pores and hyperpigmentation. How Does HydraFacial MD work?

The HydraFacial MD is a multi step treatment. The treatment is intended to cleanse, exfoliate and extract any impurities and dead skin while also replenishing the skin.



    HydraFacial MD has different types of serums to help with any skin type.  It improves the quality of the skin by making it healthy once again.  The whole treatment only takes about 30 to 45 minutes. An added benefit is you can wear makeup right after the treatment if you would like. The hydrated feel can last up to 7 days or even longer.

    Hydra Facial MD

     

    A Hydrafacial is a non-invasive skin resurfacing and hydrating procedure that an aesthetician performs at the Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa. It has vortex suction tool that works like microdermabrasion to exfoliate the skin and remove impurities without using crystals or abrasive chemicals. It uses vacuum like suction to get rid of dead skin, clogged pores, and reveal more radiant new skin. A Hydrafacial can treat a number of skin concerns, like fine lines, acne, hyperpigmentation and sun damage.
     
     

    How it works!

     
    Hydra facial MD is for all skin types. It helps with hyper pigmentation, congested pores and fine lines and wrinkles. It usually takes about 30 minutes. The way it is done is as follows.
     

    1. Cleaning and exfoliating, the aesthetician uses a deplaning tool that opens up the the pores and lifts the uppermost layer of make up and dead skin cells.
    2. Acid Peel, Glycolic  peels tend to leave your skin stinging for a minutes until washed off, but not with the acid peel. the Acid peal is as gentle it only gives you the faintest tingle.
    3. Extractions, this is where the the vortex extraction nozzle comes in to play. The vortex extraction acts as a vacuum and begins the suctions of all impurities on the skin. A cup at the base of the machine shows exactly what was extracted.
    4. Serums! This final step uses the vortex-fusion tool to infuse an antioxidant and collagen rich serum into the skin to promote elasticity and hydration.

    What to Expect During a HydraFacial MD

     

    Here at Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa the HydraFacial is ideal for all skin types and targets hyperpigmentation, oily/congested pores, fine lines, and wrinkles. With no down time, it leaves your skin glowing and looking healthier in about 30 minutes. For a standard HydraFacial there are four steps.
    Step 1: Cleansing and exfoliation. The hand piece gently glides along the skin using a Vortex-Exfoliation combined with the Activ-4 serum that removes dead skin cells. The key ingredients are glycolic and lactic acid, algae extract that calms  and soothes and yeast extract that firms and smoothes the appearance of fine lines.
    Step 2: Acid peel. A mixture of glycolic and salycilic acid delivers the benefits of a peel without the post-peel scaling. It also helps to break up dirt and clogged pores.


    Step 3: Extractions. Instead of performing manual extractions, the HydraFacial uses a Vortex-Suction that acts as a vacuum to clean out pores with the help of the Beta-HD serum. This serum uses honey extract that adds a boost of hydration and anti-bacterial benefits, Spirea Ulmaria Flower extract that soothes and calms and salicylic acid gently exfoliates and aids in extractions.
    Step 4: Serum application. The Antiox+ serum is now delivered to nourish and protect the skin with Antioxidants like Horse Chestnut Seed, Green Tea and Arnica Flower Extracts. TonePerfect Complex addresses skin tone by reducing melanin production and preventing the appearance of brown spots and discoloration. It also instantly firms and tightens. Hyaluronic Acid helps to plump and deeply hydrate and Earth Mineral Peptides boost collagen and elastin production to help eliminate fine lines. Sunscreen is then applied and you on your way to healthy, radiant skin.
