Our staff and aestheticians here at Paragon Plastic Surgery & Med Spa, located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, have found that our patients have been extremely pleased with their results after their 60-day skin treatment with Laser360. We recommend Laser360 to anyone who wants to improve and rejuvenate their facial skin tone. If you have acne scars or wrinkles that you want to redefine, Paragon Plastic Surgery & Med Spa is here to help you obtain the expectations you have for healthy skin.
What is Laser360?
Laser360 is a 60-day skin treatment that uses 3 cutting-edge technologies that tightens your skin. These technologies of the Laser360 here at Paragon Plastic Surgery & Med Spa include the following:
AFT intense pulsed light for color: Pulses of light will even out the skin tone on your face and will minimize other color irregularities
Near-infrared for tightness: Laser360 will use near-infrared to firm up any loose skin by using deep heating. This process will result by your skin appearing more youthful, contoured appearance.
Pixel for texture and tone: This laser is very precise and creates thousands of microscopic perforations, which stimulate new collagen to grow. The new collagen improves your skin’s texture and tone to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. The skin around each of these perforations remains intact, which allows the skin’s top layer to heal from the edge of these tiny holes very rapidly.
Each of these 3 technologies are operated by a hand piece and is placed against the area on your skin that will be enhanced. Although the Laser360 produces amazing results, the treated area will gradually rejuvenate over the course of your treatment. This treatment has been cleared by the FDA for more than 60 aesthetic and medical applications.
Here at Paragon Plastic Surgery & Med Spa, we want you to be satisfied with the outcome of your procedure and know that our staff is here to make sure that you are comfortable throughout the process of Laser360.
Laser 360 is a skin laser used to help rejuvenate your skin. It is a treatment that has three combined revolutionary technologies to help give you softer and younger looking skin all in a matter of 60 days! Laser 360 is also used to treat fine lines, wrinkles and discolorations. Laser 360 is perfect for people who are not quite ready for a facelift. The aestheticians at the Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa are the best in town to perform Laser 360.
What areas does it treat?
The Laser 360 is designed to treat the forehead, under eye, cheeks, neck, chest and around the mouth. It is non-invasive and a comfortable procedure and can be used on all skin types.
How does it work?
The laser 360 uses three different technologies that will all benefit you.
AFT intense pulsed light for color: This is used to even out your skin color and minimize any broken blood vessels.
Near-Infrared for tightness: The deep heat in this step helps by leaving your skin firmer to give a younger and contoured appearance.
Pixel for texture and tone: The purpose of this laser is to create many microscopic perforations to help stimulate new collagen. New collagen will improve the texture of your skin and smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
How long does the treatment take?
Laser 360 usually take up to 2 1/2 to 3 hours. There can be a 3 to 5 day social down time as the skin will be red, as days go by the redness will subside.
How long do results last?
As we age we continue to to be affected by sun and elements. To maintain a beautiful healthy glow make sure to ask our estheticians at The Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa about how you should return for touch ups.
Is it painful?
The Pixel step can be uncomfortable but it all depends on the energy and the patients tolerance. Patients can take Valium for relaxation and the prescription can be called in prior to the appointment.
What To Expect From A Photofacial A photofacial or IPL, is a 30-minute procedure in which intense pulses of light are used to penetrate deep into the skin. Photofacial then causes collagen and blood vessels below the epidermis to constrict, reducing redness and age lines. The procedure involves only minimal discomfort, while the redness and swelling that sometimes occur after treatment disappear shortly. Most benefits of a photofacial occur gradually in the weeks following treatment DAY OF THE PROCEDURE Before the procedure begins, make sure your skin is free of any tanning products or makeup. Avoid prolong sun exposure and any topical retinoids. Your skin will be cleansed and a cool gel will be applied to the treatment area, both to lubricate the handpiece and cool the skin. You will be given eye protection to protect your eyes from the bright flashes of light. DURING THE PROCEDURE During the IPL/photofacial procedure, you will feel a warm sensation caused by the handpiece. Some patients describe the sensation to a light “snap” from a rubber band. The number of pulses you receive will depend on the size of the area being treated. Following the procedure, your skin care specialist may help you in icing down the treatment area to help soothe any discomfort from the procedure. This is often unnecessary, however, as IPL/photofacial treatment causes very little pain. AFTER THE PROCEDURE The recovery time from an IPL skin procedure is often very short, as there is very little damage done to the skin during treatment. Depending on the skin condition you are seeking to remedy as well as your skin type, the redness that is present following the procedure may persist for a longer or shorter period of time. The side effects of IPL/photofacial treatment dissipate within a few hours for many patients. For some patients, however, the redness or dark spots may take a week to fade. Patients treated for severe acne sometimes experience longer recovery times, though they are often amazed by the results when the side effects wear off.

The holiday season with all its parties, family gatherings, and New Year’s resolutions can be stressful for men and women of all ages because this is typically a special time when they want to look and feel their best despite all the stress frequently associated with holiday events. Dr. Mark A. Bishara, M.D. P.A. and his staff at The Paragon Plastic Surgery and Medspa can help each individual man or woman look and feel their best for all holiday events coming up. Dr. Bishara takes the time to cultivate individual relationships with his patients in order to assure that they receive their desired look. He uses the term “patient” because he says, “I feel the term patient is a more personal and appropriate term because I am working with people in personal ways.” In his new state-of-the art facility completed in 2014, he offers the full gamut of cosmetic procedures such as robotic hair restoration, breast augmentation, tummy tuck and a variety of laser procedures. The calming music and soothing décor of his new facility create an atmosphere to ease the nerves of any anxious patient. “Sometimes patients come in extremely nervous, and my goal is to provide a calming, relaxing environment to reduce their anticipated anxiety,” he said. Additionally, Dr. Bishara takes the time to listen, discuss and explain all treatment options before outlining an appropriate treatment plan. In his Paragon office in Mansfield, Dr. Mark A. Bishara, M.D. P.A. offers “Wrinkle-Free Wednesday.” Patients can come in for Botox and Xeomin treatments at discounted rates. It’s easy to see why this is the most popular and busiest day of the week for Dr. Mark A. Bishara, M.D. P.A. and his staff. He treats hundreds of patients seeking these non-invasive, preventive procedures from 8am until 8pm. “We go through enough Botox to remove every single wrinkle from an elephant’s skin,” he grinned, “but my goal is for them to still look like themselves,” he explained. Also, as an AAAHC certified facility and dual trained surgeon, he can provide acute care as well as cosmetic surgical services. His goal is to make sure that every patient’s needs are satisfactorily and effectively met. In the spirit of giving this holiday season, Dr. Mark A. Bishara, M.D. P.A. plans to open a combined clinic that will offer reduced rates for general surgical procedures including lumpectomy, advanced laparoscopic hernia and gallbladder procedures, and varicose vein ablation. “The current medical system in this country is not sustainable. Hospitals and surgery centers charging $11,000 for a 15-minute procedure is simply not feasible when it could be offered at a more reasonable price,” he said. These large centers are sometimes bound to hold pricing high due their contracted rates with insurance companies. As a responsible physician, he wants to provide clinical services that promote and foster a medical system that is sustainable and affordable. That is why he has announced the addition of four advanced laparoscopic surgeons to the staff at the Paragon Surgery Center in Mansfield. Surgical procedures are now being offered to all patients state-wide for a cash price that is often less than some deductible plans. Although this system is intended to be cash based, some patients will still be able to submit the charges for reimbursement through their out of network benefits. As his services continue to grow and expand, Dr. Mark A. Bishara, M.D. P.A. has two other locations for the convenience of his patients; Southlake and North Park. As the holiday season and the new year approach, let Dr. Bishara and his staff help you look and feel your best. Call one of his three convenient locations at 817-473-2120 or email [email protected] to make an appointment and ensure that you enjoy the holidays knowing that you truly look your best!
Whether their goal is to turn back the hands of time, look as good as they feel, or age gracefully, Americans are embracing non surgical cosmetic facial treatments to get the quickest results with the least down time. In their quest for a more youthful appearance, however, they should keep in mind that popular non invasive procedures like the nonsurgical face lift and laser skin resurfacing are not just beauty routines. They’re medical treatments that should be respected for the benefits and risks associated with them.
Most of us want to look as good as we feel and reasonably attractive, and most people have an issue or two that they would admit to being self-conscious about. These procedures can be done rather quickly with a small amount of discomfort, there’s very little recovery time, and the results are fairly evident within a day or two. And the economics are much kinder to the person who does a little maintenance from time to time as opposed to the person that undergoes a lengthy surgical procedure. The top nonsurgical procedures of choice for both sexes in the United States are BOTOX® Cosmetic, injectable dermal fillers, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. Other popular procedures include the nonsurgical face lift and laser skin resurfacing, which is often used to deal with acne scars or general skin care. Botox or Xeomin blocks the nerve impulses that cause the muscle contractions that control certain facial expressions which, in turn, cause a breakdown of collagen leading to creases. Included in the category known as Injectable dermal fillers are commercial products like Juvederm, Belotero and Radiesse. Fillers, which replace the collagen and facial fat that we lose as we age, are used to lift, plump, smooth, and recontour the face. Botox and fillers are often administered in conjunction with each other to achieve the nonsurgical face lift or “liquid face lift”. Like Botox and dermal fillers, microdermabrasion works best when repeated in a series of skin rejuvenation treatments. It involves using a machine that sprays fine mildly abrasive crystals to remove the epidermis, or outer skin layer consisting primarily of dead skin cells. The crystals and cells are then vacuumed away. This controlled trauma to the skin leaves it looking smoother and healthier, with improvements to both the epidermis (the top layer of skin) and dermis (the middle layer of skin that includes collagen and elastic tissue.) Chemical peels are another type of skin resurfacing procedure that uses acids or other chemicals to treat sun-damage, wrinkles, blemishes and blotchiness. They can be applied to the entire face or just specific areas, or almost anywhere else on the body for smoother, more even-toned skin. Like dermabrasion and chemical peels, laser skin treatments help revitalize aged or sun-damaged skin, revealing fresher, younger-looking skin. Other usages include the treatment of birthmarks, acne scars, and vascular lesions. Moles, warts, tattoos, and unwanted body hair can also be removed by laser skin treatment. While these procedures may all seem to be mainly cosmetic in nature – more beauty procedure than surgical procedure – they are considered surgical, albeit less invasive than many other cosmetic surgery procedures. There are real risks involved that should be understood prior to committing to treatment. For example, using too much Botox or injecting it into the wrong spot can result in a drooping eyebrow or drooling. If dermal fillers are overinjected, you may end up with more augmentation than you were counting on, at least temporarily. With both microdermabrasion and chemical peels there is a risk of hyperpigmentation (dark spots) of the skin. Infection, bruising, and swelling are all temporary side effects of any procedure. For best results with your noninvasive cosmetic procedure, consult with one or more plastic surgeons or dermatologists and make sure they are trained and experienced in the specific treatment that interests you. They should be able to assess your situation, answer your questions, lay out the risks and benefits, and determine if you are a viable candidate for the procedure. First-time patients can ease their way into noninvasive cosmetic treatments by requesting one of the temporary fillers that last up to a year to “try on” the results. Start with a conservative approach to make sure you like what you see, and sample just one treatment at a time so you can discern what works and what doesn’t in your particular case.
... Dr. Bishara told me my hair transplant would change my life....and It did... Financially! 15K and my hair looks about the same 15 months after the transplant. I do have limited growth in the procedure areas but not the thick or full coverage I expected. I am disappointed to say the least and now stuck with the option of shaving my investment..
During a follow up consultation in July 2018 (procedure done May 2017) Dr. Bishara said I had continued to have hair loss and asked me what I was doing to counter the continued hair loss.... Nothing was my answer because this was not discussed until now. I really think this is his go to excuse... Some of his other reviews say the same! I would think this would be something that should be discussed extensively as a possibility before the procedure and not after, but that might be bad for business! When I brought up the fact that Dr. Bishara had given me his word that he always makes things right... He told me he felt we had exhausted my donor area and that another transplant would not be an option... If you are considering a hair transplant I would think long and hard about what your expectations are and ask whatever doctor you use, what is the worst case scenario for me and options if the procedure does not give you the results you expect!read more
... Doctor’s bedside manner was great, but the staff from beginning to end, treated me like a number, eager to get me in and out so they can go about their stuff. Im new to all of these procedures, and this is a small business, so I was expecting more sincere genuine care from them. I also didn’t see any results, not even after several treatments. I did everything that was recommended. I’m so upset that I don’t even want to call and complain because I know it wouldn’t matter to a place like this. They never followed up with me to see how my results turned out. A business that cares and who want efficient work for their patients always make sure you’re happy. especially when thousands of dollars is wasted. I do
not recommend them.read more

... For hair restoration, this is the absolute last place you want to be. He is not an expert, he is only good at selling you that he is. He has good bedside manner but do not let that fool you (He fooled me. I thought I had found a great doctor but I was so wrong). He is extremely dishonest when reviewing results. He promises the world then only delivers 10% of what he promised. When you call him out on it, he blames you the patient for the poor results... it is so distasteful, it makes me sick to my stomach that I trusted him. I had multiple surgeries with this doctor, I was foolish to trust him but I did and still came away with terrible results. I want other people to avoid that experience which is why I am writing this review.People who are losing their hair are already in enough pain then you go to a doctor thinking you can trust them to help your situation but instead Dr. Bishara exploits you, compounding that pain. He may respond to this review refuting it or trying to explain away what happened to me, that is expected.Go see a doctor who specializes in hair restoration not someone who buys an expensive machine and does hair on the side to make more money. Find a good doctor and do not make an emotional decision like I did by going with the first doctor you visit because you just want to get more hair right away. You do not have to take my word for it but I hope it leads you to more research for your own hair restoration.(My name is not on the review because this is a private medical matter)read more
