A woman’s body goes through a variety of changes during her lifetime, and over the years, the collagen fibers in the vaginal lining can start to decline. Coupled with pregnancy, childbirth, the normal aging process, and inherited genetic disposition, these changes may become more pronounced. As the production of collagen slows, the vaginal walls can lose their youthful tautness, causing them to become lax and loose. Unfortunately, these changes can cause a significant loss in vaginal sensation and decreased satisfaction during intercourse, dramatically disrupting a woman’s overall sexual health and confidence.
Today, however, there are several options for improving vaginal muscle tone and tightness, depending on an individual’s physical needs. Geneveve™ by Viveve is an exciting, nonsurgical method that can improve lax vaginal tissues by renewing the production of collagen. Only one Geneveve™ treatment is needed to restore and improve sexual sensation for a year or longer. Paragon Plastic Surgery brings the innovative Geneveve™ treatment to women in Dallas/Fort Worth improving both their quality of life and their most intimate relationships.

What Is Geneveve?

Viveve’s Geneveve™ is a cutting-edge, noninvasive treatment designed to increase vaginal tightness and elasticity. The single-session treatment has the ability to restore taut vaginal walls without surgery, dramatically improving sexual sensation. Unlike more traditional methods of vaginal rejuvenation, that require incisions or tissue ablation, Viveve’s Geneveve™ works gently. Created especially for the delicate tissues of the vagina, Geneveve™ utilizes a patented, Cryogen-cooled monopolar radiofrequency (CMRF) to deliver safe, temperature-controlled heating and cooling, successfully stimulating the production of new collagen. Geneveve™ works at the cellular level, slowly improving tissue tone and strength. Over the weeks following treatment, the vaginal muscles will slowly become tighter and stronger, increasing comfort and improving sexual sensations. As the only treatment available today using an algorithmically-controlled heating and cooling system, the benefits of Geneveve™ ensure a safe way for women to improve sexual satisfaction and increase in their self-esteem.

An Ideal Candidate for Geneveve

Most women struggling with a decrease in vaginal laxity will make an excellent candidate for Geneveve™. The gentle radiofrequency used during each Geneveve™ treatment make the procedure safe enough for almost everyone. Potential patients should be in overall good health and hold a general understanding of the treatment process. However, those with a pacemaker or an Automatic Implantable Cardioverty/Defibrillator should not undergo treatment with Geneveve.
Before scheduling a Geneveve™ session, potential patients will have a confidential consultation with our Medical Aestheticians at Paragon Plastic Surgery. During this appointment, the aesthetician will perform an evaluation of the vaginal tissues, and discuss the patient’s physical concerns. At this time, the Geneveve™ technique will be explained in detail, as well as more invasive options, such as vaginal rejuvenation. If it is determined the noninvasive Geneveve™ technique is right for an individual patient, a personalized treatment plan will be created.

Your Private Geneveve Session

The Geneveve™ procedure is performed in a private treatment room at Paragon Plastic Surgery. Each treatment is quick, taking only 30 minutes. Patients are comfortable during the procedure, so no anesthesia required. Some women will note warm or cool sensations during treatment, however Geneveve™ is not painful. Each pulse of monopolar energy penetrates 3-5mm deep into the connective tissue, distributing the energy evenly throughout the target area. Viveve’s Geneveve™ method uses a reverse thermal gradient to automatically cool itself down, further protecting the delicate vaginal mucosa during the heating process.

Geneveve Recovery and Results

No downtime is needed following a Geneveve™ treatment. With no incisions or sutures, women are feeling well enough to return to their normal routine immediately. The vaginal walls are not disrupted during treatment, meaning no lingering discomfort and no chance for serious complications or adverse effects. Our Medical Aesthetician’s will provide detailed instructions on how long to wait before resuming sexual activity after treatment. The benefits of Geneveve™ will not be seen immediately. As the body’s collagen supply is restored, women will notice their vaginal tissues becoming tauter and tighter. While some women will note initial improvements soon after their treatment, it will take approximately three months for the full benefits of Geneveve™ to be seen. Results will last for up to 12 months, sometimes longer. After this time, a repeat Geneveve™ session can be safely performed to maintain tight, taut vaginal walls.
Take time to care for yourself by calling Paragon Plastic Surgery today! For more information on Geneveve™ from Paragon Plastic Surgery, contact our office at 817-473-2120. Geneveve by Viveve – Feel Sensational!

A Simple Treatment for Vaginal Laxity that Can Impact Overall Well-being is here. Geneveve  is a new way to rejuvenate your vaginal tissue and reawaken sexual sensation without surgery. Just like skin, vaginal tissue relies on collagen for support. With the normal aging or childbearing, the tissue can become stretched and weakened. It causes vaginal looseness, which can lead to loss physical sensation during intercourse and also urinary incontinence.

What Is Vaginal Laxity?

Vaginal tissue is made up of collagen fibers. Over time or with trauma the collagen can lose its strength and shape, creating a feeling of looseness, especially around the vaginal opening. Common causes of vaginal laxity include childbirth, other physical stress on the tissue and aging. If you experience vaginal laxity, you may also notice a difference in sensation and satisfaction during intercourse.

WHAT IS URINARY INCONTINENCE?

Urinary incontinence, or loss of bladder control, is a frustrating problem for millions. Never knowing when and where you might have an accident can affect everything from work to exercise to your social life. It happens to both men and women, but it’s more common in women. Studies show that at least half of older women may have some form of incontinence. The main symptom is peeing unexpectedly. If you leak a bit when you laugh, cough, sneeze, jog, or lift something heavy, you may have stress incontinence. This is the most common bladder control problem in younger women. Stress incontinence happens when the muscles and tissues around the opening of the bladder are weak. When there’s more pressure against the bladder and this opening doesn’t stay closed, leakage happens. Pressure from coughing or laughing may be all it takes for you to leak. There are a few reasons why these muscles can lose strength: They may be stretched by weight gain, a sports injury, or pregnancies and vaginal childbirths.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE GENEVEVE TREATMENT?

Clinical studies have shown statistically improvement in vaginal tightening, to pre-childbirth levels, at 1 to 12 months following a single, treatment. At 12 months, improved and sustained tightening was shown in 90% of the women as well as improvement in sexual satisfaction. A third clinical study showed that women who received the Geneveve treatment showed more vaginal tightening at 6 months than women who did not receive the treatment.

IS THE GENEVEVE TREATMENT SAFE?

Absolutely! Geneveve is proven to be safe and effective!
